Dr. Anwar completed training in Internal Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan and his fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Manitoba. He is excited to return to his hometown of Richmond Hill and be a part of the CArE team. He hopes to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to our community members.

He has an interest in nutritional research and the impact of the inflammatory potential of food in the setting of rheumatoid arthritis.

Outside of work, Dr. Anwar enjoys mountain biking, skiing, indoor gardening, computers and technology, and spending time with his family.
