Annette is an independent healthcare consultant providing expertise in health system planning and performance, collaborative practice, integrated care models, and quality improvement. Annette has a clinical background in physiotherapy, and is a Certified Health Executive with over 25 years of progressive leadership experience spanning acute care, rehabilitation, home and community care, and at the former Local Health Integration Network.

She is involved in the academic sector as a lecturer in the Department of Physical Therapy, Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto.  She is passionate about preparing the future generation of healthcare professionals to thrive in team-based care models.

In addition to serving on the Board of the Centre of Arthritis Excellence, Annette’s volunteer activities include being on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association, and conducting editorial reviews for Healthcare Quarterly, Longwoods Inc. As Ontario continues with health system transformation, Annette is strongly committed to supporting a person-centred, integrated, quality healthcare system, and actions to advance equity, diversity, inclusion and anti-racism.
