Sarah is an Occupational Therapist with almost 20 years of clinical experience in acute care and neurological rehabilitation. She was the Professional Resource for the Outpatient Neurological Rehabilitation Program at Southlake Regional Health Centre, which she advocated for and developed. Her extensive experience in team development and management, provides exceptional health care that is accessible and compassionate.

Sarah developed an experiential injury prevention program (York Region Prevent Alcohol and Risk Related Trauma to Youth – PARTY Program). She coordinated and facilitated the PARTY Program for over a decade. During that time, the PARTY Program reached over 5000 teenagers in York Region with the powerful message of risk reduction.

She is excited in contributing evidence-based arthritis care in the dynamic team setting of CArE. Sarah is thrilled to offer care to our community members.

Sarah is a long-standing Newmarket resident. As well, she is passionate about accessible sport and leisure. The Canadian Adaptive Climbing Society benefits from Sarah’s knowledge and skill as an Occupational Therapist. Sarah is also the Canadian National Classifier for Paraclimbing.

When not working, Sarah enjoys rock climbing, skiing and hiking with her family, as well as knitting and preserving.
